The Dreaming City is the biggest Taken colony you’ll find in the game, a Gambit is the only place where both of these bonuses will come in useful. This means you won’t have much use for it outside the stuff Forsaken brought. Malfeasance’s main selling point is the increased damage it does to Taken enemies and Gambit invaders. Afterwards, go talk to Drifter and you’ll get your pistol. If you’re not comfortable with PvP, you can have a friend do it for you – but they’ll have to do it three times. You will need to kill 25 guardians, as well as get 4 kills during a single invasion. You’ll be sick to death of Gambit by now, but the next step is also tied to it. As the item description says, dropped motes decrease your counter twice as fast as deposited ones increase it, so be careful. The next part is pretty tricky – you’ll have to win 10 Gambit matches and deposit 500 motes od dark in total. When you’ve completed the mission, go back to the Drifter again. Since the recommended power level is 580, you’ll definitely have to go in with a team. Once you’re done with that, you’ll have to complete a modified version of the Corrupted strike – the one in Dreaming City. You could either do a whole lot of Blind Well, or focus on lost sectors like Aphelion’s Rest. High value targets don’t count towards the total – only proper bosses and mini-bosses. ![]() ![]() He’ll give you the City of Secrets quest item, which requires you to kill 25 Taken bosses (or mini-bosses). Once you have the Seething Heart, go talk to the Drifter.
